Designer Diaper Duds

Looking back at photos from just 10 years ago, we see Mom's toting along their plastic-y diaper bags with little lambs or tiny lions sprinkled all over them. Wow, have we come a long way! Nowadays there are so many styles, fabrics and colors to choose from, but even most of those wouldn't satisfy the most stylish Mom's (and Dad's too). Here are 4 modern diaper bags that make the days before potty training look so much better!

Boujie Baby is the brainchild of a Chicago auntie with exceptional taste. Suzanne Kopulus' line features 5 different style bags with such careful attention paid to detail that no one would ever know they were made to house kid stuff. Each one is not only expertly crafted, but the fabrics and colors are sophisticated. Who thought diaper duty could feel so glamorous? Below is the mKm Diaper Pochette. It's fold over design is perfect size for quick diaper changes and can be worn or carried as a clutch, shoulder bag or across the body messenger-style. Inside are 2 separate compartments to hold wipes, diapers and a changing mat. Once baby is out of diapers, it can continue to be used as a purse, which makes it well worth the money Available in Onyx Patent Leather, Onyx, Iron and Bronze for $425.
10 years ago, Leslie Newton took her hobby of creating handbags to a whole new level when she realized there was a lack of cute diaper bags available on the market. When she brought her first line to a trade show, she had to put a sign out stating they were diaper bags because no one could believe it. Jessica Alba used the below Charlie bag for her daughter Honor Marie. The bag is made from waterproof, faux leather (yay eco-friendly Moms!). There's an additional cross body strap so you can tote it or wear it hands-free. Inside is a changing pad that has a pocket where you can store diapers and wipes. Plus, a zippered compartment, as well as credit card slot, an insulated bottle tote and matching straps allowing you to it from your stroller. Available in black and light brown for $140.

7AM Enfant shares a major similarity to the above diaper bag companies - Woman designed and of course, uber-fashionable. Rebecca Campora's line is every bit as stylish as Paris, the city of its conception. Since most of the collection is geared to keeping kids warm and in style, we were overjoyed by the creation of this piece. Finally something we can use! Available in 2 sizes - the smaller is perfect for everyday and the large ideal for weekend trips. It features tons of interior storage space and compartments, a shoulder strap and fastening system allowing the bag to attach to any stroller handlebars, a changing pad and a see through case which makes it easy to find exactly what you're looking for, cell phone and key holder, bottle holder and a thermal insulated lunch box. Available in a variety of colors. Small is $110 and large is $130.
Calling all Daddy's. You know how much we love man-gear, so what would a stylish diaper bag posting be without showing the latest and greatest from Diaper Dude? The Eco-Friendly Messenger II is made of recycled PET material. That's earth-friendly speak for recycled water bottles - 25 of them to be exact. The shoulder strap is padded, so no more red marks on tank top days. Includes an insulated bottle holder, 3 large Velcro compartments, changing pad, stroller clip, interior key chain and cell phone holder. Our absolute favorite part is the screen printed Daddy checklist on the inside of the bag's flap. Genius! Available in green for $98.
All items are available at NessaLee Baby.

  1. The mKm Diaper Pochette is fabulous. I'd never know it was a diaper bag. I also love the Leslie Newton bag, and the price is great.
